Comprehensive measures relating to PPE use, material handling, and decontamination were established to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all team members.

While the ground conditions were manageable with the appropriate equipment, electromagnetic interference (EMI) presented a unique challenge, as it can affect all sensitive electronic systems. In such circumstances, the only true control for EMI is the complete shutdown of electrical sources — a measure rarely permitted under most project schedules. To address this, our team adopted an agile approach, rapidly transitioning to night-shift operations to maintain programme integrity and deliver outcomes without disrupting other critical daytime works.
